Spent the past two days in Kigali attending the #GAISAfrica2025 where we were hosted by Paul Kagame and Paula Ingabire to thought provoking and insightful sessions on the future of Africa and our adoption of new and emerging technology as a continent. I was a panelist in a session where we discussed 'Unleashing the power of AI in Agriculture'. I challenged us to embrace collaborative efforts in place of siloed attempts, to build synergies across the colonial border line and put AI where it ought to be - in the hands of African farmers, in their language and on their own devices! 🦁🇬🇭
