In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi warned that if the #US carries out President Donald Trump's threat against Iran’s critical infrastructure, then a wider regional crisis would be triggered, urging #Gulf countries to reconsider their support for the US. Marandi stated that "if the United States indeed carries out its threats against Iran, then I think that countries such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and the Emirates, and Oman increasingly will have to face the consequences."
