𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐰𝐝: 𝐀 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐲𝐮𝐮 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Edna Adan (Edna Adan) has made a heartfelt plea to the international community to save thousands of innocent lives in the #Hawd region, now devastated by a brutal campaign of violence by the Liyuu Police. Entire villages along the #Somaliland border have been shelled, bombed, and burned in what can only be described as acts of genocide. These atrocities are unimaginable: •Homes torched to ashes •Women and children shot indiscriminately •Entire families massacred •Those who survived fled into the bushes, with many severely injured. Those who could be carried were brought into Somaliland for emergency medical care. #Somaliland is doing everything in its power to assist the victims, but the scale of the crisis is overwhelming. These villages are being wiped off the map, and we cannot face this challenge alone. We are calling on the world to act urgently—humanitarian aid is desperately needed, and justice must be sought for the victims of these heinous crimes.
