At the majestic Passing Out Parade at Indian Naval Academy, 311 trainees of #IndianNavy #ICG including 06 international cadets from Vietnam 🇻🇳, Seychelles 🇸🇨 and Tanzania 🇹🇿, marched proudly to the #AntimPag, marking the successful culmination of a long, demanding and transformative journey shaped by discipline, perseverance and naval ethos. ⚓🇮🇳 The parade was reviewed by Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, AVSM, NM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command. Addressing the trainees, he emphasised that technology, however advanced, can never substitute character and that leadership, courage, judgement and moral conviction will ultimately determine victory. In challenging sea conditions Indian Coast Guard Ship Rani Gaidinliu recovered an adrift MoES NIOT data buoy in the Bay of Bengal. The scientific buoy had drifted 150+ km from its position off #Nellore, #AndhraPradesh. Responding swiftly to a distress call from MV SITTHAA due to flooding in multiple compartments whilst off #Tiruchendur (Tamil Nadu) on 27 Jun 26, Indian Coast Guard ship Atulya rendered immediate assistance. #ICG’s specialist boarding team coordinated with salvage experts, monitored emergency repairs and dewatering operations & ensured flooding remained under control.
