#iThongaMzansi analysis 🧐 The dreams symbolized Sanele's deep struggle with letting go of his brother. In general, letting go of a loved one is difficult, but in Sanele's case, it was something he had to do-though deep down, he didn't want to. Even in the dream, Sanele told Banele that they would always be together and that he would never let go of him. Sanele was given specific instructions regarding the ritual, but he didn't follow all of them properly. He was told never to look at the coffin, and the blanket was meant to shield him from seeing the coffin. While this worked to some extent, when Sanele looked back at the grave at the end, and Banele's hand crept out, it symbolized the darkness that would follow him. A part of me feels that Sanele wanted to look back, as if he couldn't resist, while another part of me feels that it was a mistake-an unintended moment that sealed his fate. It also represents Banele's spiritual presence, constantly following Sanele everywhere. Additionally, Ntanzi's outfit at the funeral speaks volumes. I could be wrong, but it seems to symbolize the blood he has spilled. I love how wardrobe also plays a pivotal role in the storyline, adding layers of meaning to the narrative.
