Building on the success of Nyandungu Eco-Park, the rehabilitation of five additional wetlands, carried out in partnership with REMA, is now over 90% complete. These beautiful green spaces feature artificial lakes, pedestrian walkways, cycling lanes, indigenous trees that provide shade and fresh air, and habitats for a variety of bird species whose songs bring life to the wetlands. #Ecologie : désormais près de 50% des artères principales de #Kigali sont réservés aux bus de transport en commun, pendant certaines heures de la journée. Beaucoup de ces bus sont électriques. Un gros bouleversement qui veut encourager la prise des transports en commun et la diminution de l’émissions des gaz à effet de serre. Mais cette décision divise les gens : pour certains, lors des heures de pointe ce sera un enfer pour les gens en voiture privée ! Il est urgent d’ajouter de nouvelles routes et/ou d’élargir celles qui existent, pour créer des bandes pour bus ! Ce qui m’a frappé ce matin c’est de voir comment les gens respectent déjà cette nouvelle décision !
