David Axelrod and Van Jones debate AIPAC re: #MISen ⬇️ Axelrod: “It's a legitimate question. Should essentially an agent of any foreign government, whether it's Israel or any other, be able to spend.. $30 million in a race like this to influence the outcome of that race?” Van Jones: “I don't think that they're an agent of a foreign power. I think they're American Jews… Their issue is to protect Israel… Why is AIPAC so mad? This guy is saying that the U.S. government can't even sell defensive weapons to Israel, which would make Israel completely defenseless. Now that would be a reason for a group of people who cares about Israelis to say this is not our guy.”

CNN's Shermichael Singleton Singleton on #MISen... "Well, we're hoping that Democrats make the catastrophic mistake of -- of electing el-Sayed. And I'll tell you why. He may not identify as a democratic socialist, but there's a reason every single democratic -- prominent socialist in America is endorsing his candidacy. There's a reason why, when you look at polling segmentation of voters, older African American voters are not registering and supporting him in high numbers. Blue-collar, non-college-degreed Michiganders are not supporting him in high numbers. And so, if you're a Democrat and you're trying to figure out your micro-targeting, where can you pull the coalition together to beat a Mike Rogers who, by the way, only lost by 19,000 votes against Elissa Slotkin several years ago, the closest Senate race in Michigan history, you have got to be nervous about whether or not this guy can pull together that traditional coalition that Karen is definitely familiar with as a Democrat, to get him across the finish line. I'm not convinced that he is. There's a lot about this guy and his views that have not been revealed to Michiganders on a broad scale yet. And I promise you, we're going to target him hard and heavy."

#MISen Abdul El-Sayed on CNN Inside Politics: Manu Raju: You said Israeli government is evil. Do you think they're just as evil as Hamas? El-Sayed: “Yes, killing tens of thousands of people makes you pretty damn evil. It’s not about how evil one is versus the other. Hamas — evil, Israeli government — evil. We can say both.”
