PRESS RELEASE: Today, in violation of subsisting court orders & the Constitution, the DSS blocked the Legal Team of MAZI NNAMDI KANU from meeting with him at the detention facility. It appears that the DSS has cancelled all future visitations to #MNK as a retaliation against #MNK "for chasing away Justice Binta Nyako from the case & causing her embarrassment”. What this means is that that the DSS, acting on behalf of the federal government of Nigeria, has unlawfully isolated #MNK from his Lawyers, thus making his solitary confinement absolute. UPDATE: Those of us arrested, dehumanized, detained & being prosecuted for merely engaging in a civil protest for #MNK on 20th October, have assembled at the magistrate court in Kuje in defense of freedom & the right of citizens to disagree with their government. So, help us God.

While urging #Ndigbo to remain calm, I must question the wisdom of sending #MNK to Sokoto prison. When Awolowo was convicted in 1963, he was sent to the East, a neutral zone in his feud with the North. Pres. Tinubu can still halt this drift, as I said in this video.

For insisting on a #Trial, we have (today) brought MAZI NNAMDI KANU’s case to an abrupt end before Justice Binta Nyako. We cannot allow #MNK to be subjected to the ordeal of a proceedings that is in breach of the Constitution & has assumed the character of an #UnfairTrial.
