#MYMODISTORY When I was preparing for my movie Rocketry, I got a personal experience of Modi ji’s extraordinary attentiveness. This was right after Uri had released and become a huge success. Modi ji was visiting Mumbai for an event at the, where a lot of people from the film fraternity had gathered. Everyone was eager to meet him and click pictures. I was there too — but not as myself. I was in full look of the great scientist Nambi Narayan ji, whom I was portraying as the lead role. With a big beard and full makeup, I genuinely doubted whether Modi ji would even recognize me. To my absolute surprise, the moment he saw me, he said, “Madhavan ji, you look like Nambi Narayan. Has the shooting of the film started?” I was stunned. Here was the Prime Minister of India, burdened with the responsibilities of the nation and the world, yet he not only recognized me instantly but also remembered exactly what I was working on, despite my drastically different appearance. That day, for the very first time, I took a selfie with him. Coincidentally, both of us had similar beards at the time. It remains one of my most cherished memories—because it showed me that Narendra Modi ji is not just a leader of vision, but a human being who notices, remembers, and values people in the most personal way. When Modi Ji said “Shabash Bandi”… here is #MyModiStory During my tenure as BJP Telangana State President, we held a massive public meeting at Parade Ground with Modi Ji as the Chief Guest. Looking at the crowd and the energy, Modi ji said to me: “Shabash Bandi.” His smile that day is something I even cherish to this day. Later, when we secured victories in GHMC elections, Dubbaka, and Huzurabad by-elections, he kept applauding our achievements saying: “Shabash Bandi.” It takes a big heart to laud our small achievements and encourage karyakartas like me. People often talk about Hindi imposition. But during the BJP National Executive meeting, when Modi Ji asked me to speak about my Praja Sangrama Yatra, I began in Hindi. He immediately said: “Speak in Telugu.” In front of the top leaders of BJP, I spoke proudly in my mother tongue. When everyone applauded, Modi Ji encouraged others to undertake their own Praja Sangrama Yatra. There may be many Prime Ministers in India, but Modi Ji is unique. He notices every karyakarta, asks about their well-being, and makes them feel seen. That is his true strength. On this day, I offer not just wishes but heartfelt gratitude. #MYMODISTORY When I first met Narendra Modi ji in Nagpur, I did not know that the moment would leave such a lasting impression on me. I was a young Mayor then, eager to learn from the senior leaders of our party. It was during an Abhyaas Varg held in Reshimbagh. I was also serving as the president of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha, Nagpur, and the responsibility of organizing the event was mine. We had made arrangements for every guest. Proper rest houses were kept ready for all dignitaries. When Modi ji arrived, he first paid his respects at Dr. Hedgewar’s memorial. Later, when I asked where he would like to stay, I thought he would choose the rest house like the other leaders. Instead, he simply said he wanted to stay in the small room inside Reshimbagh meant for Sangh karyakartas. I was struck by that choice. It showed me his humility and his strong connection with the Sangh tradition. Throughout the event, he observed every detail and ensured that all the participants were comfortable. That first meeting shaped my impression of him. I saw a leader who valued simplicity over luxury and service over status. That image of Narendra Modi ji has always remained with me. Modi Story

What strikes me most is the way he blends vision with execution, curiosity with humility. Over the years, I have had several opportunities to engage with him, and each occasion has left me with insights into his remarkable leadership style. One of the strongest impressions is his deep passion for Vibrant Gujarat. I have been attending the summit for long , and each time I have had the privilege of a one-on-one meeting with him. Our discussions would always center on development and how India could transform into a stronger, more dynamic nation. I also had the opportunity to travel with him overseas during his tenure as Chief Minister. His curiosity was remarkable. He would visit a new country, and learn something new. On many occasions, he shared his observations and insights from those trips. One incident stands out clearly. During a meeting in Ahmedabad, he told me about his visit to Japan, where he had noticed braille trail on the roads leading up to the railway station. He explained how a visually impaired person could walk independently and safely using those tiles. He was so impressed by the idea that upon returning to Gujarat, he implemented the same concept at Kankariya in Ahmedabad, where it remains visible today. That small example shows his attention to detail, his focus on execution, and his commitment to inclusive development. Whenever he visited a foreign country, he was eager to learn best practices and adapt them for the betterment of Gujarat and India.
