Mchunu presented this evidence, stating he advised Nkabinde to record the call because of "threats" Mkhwanazi allegedly made against Mchunu. However, after this recording was played in Parliament, Mchunu says the evidence does not include the specific audio he wanted. He claims there is a part in the conversation where Mkhwanazi allegedly said that 'if Mchunu was clean, he should go ahead with the disbandment'.
