Through #ProjectGhost, our Central Robbery Bureau linked more than 15 incidents across the #GTA — including violent home invasions and a shooting — to the same organized crime group. Today, we announced their takedown: 13 arrests (5 young persons) 197 charges laid (23 related to #organizedcrime) This group preyed on at-risk youth to carry out crimes. As part of our commitment to #communitysafety and well-being, referrals have been made to support the young persons charged and their families with resources aimed at preventing reoffending. We will not allow organized crime to take hold in #Peel.
