I strongly condemn the incident at #DelhiMetro Station where an Amritdhari #Sikh was denied entry for carrying a Kirpan, an essential part of #Sikhism. This is a clear violation of the democratic right to practice one's faith. I demand that the AAP-led Delhi govt and BJP-led Central govt ensure that immediate action is taken to address this issue and ensure that awareness is created amongst security officers so that they respect the religious freedoms of all individuals.
