#Syria: today, a community campaign was launched to reforest Maydanki Lake (N. of #Afrin - N. #Aleppo) following the extensive tree cutting that occurred in the area after the #TSK/#SNA takeover in 2018, when many trees were used for firewood. The initiative, organized by activists and expatriates, has attracted participants from multiple provinces. Around 25,000 trees are expected to be replanted in the coming weeks.
