I am confident they did not flee because of #Rwanda stigmatization; they sought asylum by claiming persecution by the #DRC. The persecution of the Tutsi Banyamulenge that they now deny continues to this day. Remember that under U.S. law, providing false information to immigration authorities is a serious offence that can lead to imprisonment and deportation. I urge the United States to thoroughly review their immigration records and draw independent conclusions based on verified facts about Tutsi -Banyamulenge persecution in the DRC. Patrick Muyaya if Banyamulenge refugees in Rwanda were deported, what about the thousands of Banyamulenge refugees living in Burundi, Uganda, Kenya, and Western countries? Were they all deported as well? These facts clearly contradict your claims. Public funds and the nation’s mineral resources should not be used to mislead the international community or manipulate victims.
