#Syria: a Christian man was freed after being abducted by National Guard-affiliated gunmen in #Suwayda. He was held for over one month and was tortured while his captors asked $200,000 for his release. Abdul Baqi explained the operation was made possible through contacts with local groups in Hijri-held Suwayda. The man was subsequently brought back to Government-controlled areas.
