A Sunni young man was arrested for waving his pistol and playing songs inciting the killing of Alawites, but this didn’t please everyone #Tartus: The investigating judge in Tartus issued a warrant for the arrest of a young man in the al-Hamidiyah area in the Tartus countryside, after he played a song by al-Sarout (terrorist fought with ISIS + singer in Homs protests), calling for the killing of Alawites while waving his pistol and driving his car. This incident did not sit well with some people, among them a figure known as Khaled al-Talawi, who claims to be a journalist, though most of his content is inflammatory. He, along with other influencers and social media pages, incited against the investigating judge in Tartus who issued the charge, on the grounds that the judge is Alawite, claiming that the young man had only been arrested for playing songs of the symbols of the revolution in #Homs. This sectarian incitement continued and reached the social media pages in Homs (Khaled al-Talawi is from Homs), and some have said that its consequences included the targeting of the Alawite family in Homs.
