We have seen a terrible civil war in #Ethiopia, particularly in the #Tigray region. Although a peace deal has been signed, it has not been implemented. I spoke before the House Appropriations Committee on the need to ensure that the #Tigrayan people actually receive U.S. aid.

And finally, he states plainly: Eritrea is a sovereign nation. International law applies. You cannot seize ports or land that do not belong to you. Arkebe’s message is simple: facts matter, sovereignty matters, and history cannot be rewritten to satisfy political fantasies.
