Sidewalks carved into snow canyons, roads running like cattle chutes, and somehow… everything moving again. In most places, this much snow would shut life down. Here, it’s a snowblower symphony at sunrise and back to business by mid-morning. That mountain-town rhythm of dig out, help your neighbor, keep going. As this community gathers for Sunday night’s vigil to remember those lost in the avalanche, you can feel both the weight of the week and the resilience that defines this place.
