(2 of 5) Again using just Position, the cheeks and eyebrows are adjusted, along with adding rotation to the lower eyelids and eyes to give a bit more life to the smile.

(3 of 5) Increasing in complexity, sprinkling in further small details to give a more natural feel -- Bringing the lips up and out further, rotating the corners up. Further moving eyes, lids, cheeks, and adding rotation. Folding ears, tilting head, shifting hair.

(4 of 5) Having a little fun, we push further and turn the smile into a more playful open-mouth smirk and wink. Cheeks, lips, eyelids, and eyebrows move and rotate more. Upper eyelid moved down with Position in this specific case, to give that upward-bend look to the winking eye.

(5 of 5) Lastly, the most subtle step, further refinements just based on what "feels right". Rotating the center upper lips to make them look a little fuller and more puffed out, adding a bit more cheek smoosh, and adjusting the overall shape of the playful open toothy smirk.

Hm, do you have Posing toggled on in Ktisis? As long as it's off, anything you try to do through it will immediately get reverted back to your in-game pose/animation, even if you have motion paused in gpose.
