(2/2) Houston is watching, and CenterPoint will be held accountable. Mayor Whitmire's priority is to get the lights back on for all Houstonians.

Dude you were PRAISING them on Tuesday....." we are all in this together!". What a 🤡.Can't wait to vote you out.

Will you return the 500,000 dollars they given you in campaign donations? #OneTermWhitmire

Nah let’s fire this CEO and have other power options here. Also put us on the national grid this is embarrassing! Leadership was not prepared!

Isn’t it literally your job to oversee the city? Why weren’t you screaming that we weren’t ready before this storm hit and demanding accountability? If you knew, you could have warmed us to expect this. If you didn’t know, you weren’t doing your job.
I've been in Houston since i was 2 years old. I'd have a hard time coming up with a reason to move a company here vs DFW or Austin or San Antonio with the way our electricity infrasturcture is apparently held together with bubblegum, bailing wire and a lot of hope and prayer.

But what are the action items to get better??

Derecho blackout in May now #Beryl blackout. This was a low end Cat. 1. I shudder to think what the city would do in a Cat. 3, 4, 5 Hurricane season is young. The good people of Houston deserve so much better than this. Thinking of you all from CO.#TXwx #Hurricane #HurricaneBeryl

Told by Centerpoint representative that if we are reporting our outage using their automated service & online, they are not receiving those outage reports. The representative was not aware that my home didn’t not have power. Map shows that our neighborhood is partially energized.

Wow this sounds so familiar.. New Orleans Louisiana and Entergy 🥴😩🤢
