A man was walking through the forest when he spotted a stray mother dog trying her best to protect her tiny puppies. She looked exhausted. You could tell she hadn’t had a proper meal in days. Her body was weak, but she refused to leave her babies for even a second. The rescuers knew they couldn’t rush things. So they started by bringing her food and keeping their distance, hoping she would realize they weren’t there to hurt her. Even though she was starving, her eyes never left her puppies. Every movement made her nervous. All she cared about was keeping her little family safe. They carefully placed some food inside a humane trap, hoping she would walk in. But again, she chose to stay beside her babies instead. After almost an hour of patience and gentle effort, the team finally managed to rescue her. Her family kept calling her mobile phone. She would switch it on to let them know she was still there. Still breathing. Still waiting to be rescued. To let Lebanese Civil Defence rescuers know where she was trapped. Rescue teams pulled others out & kept digging with their bare hands in search of her, until orders came to halt all rescue operations until the following morning. But they had Rania’s number. They kept calling her. And she kept answering. She never spoke. But they could hear her breathing. For 12 hours, Rania lay there alone beneath broken concrete, stones, darkness, dust & fear. Most likely injured. Listening to voices above her, knowing people were trying to reach her but were being prevented from continuing. Just like in Maarakeh, rescuers were forced to stop searching overnight. Still, they kept calling her phone to give her hope. To let her know she had not been abandoned. By around 1:00 a.m., roughly 12 hours after the strike, her phone finally went dead. The battery had most likely run out. This morning, rescuers resumed the search. They found Rania. Next to her was her mobile phone. She had died. Israel killed her twice. The first time with a bomb. The second time when rescuers were prevented from saving her.

A woman and her friend were visiting NYC to do some sight seeing and enjoy the local cuisine, they checked into the hotel for the weekend. They were gone all afternoon, and they came back around 5:00 pm. When she got back she found a notice saying they were being charged $500 for a smoking fee. She immediately went downstairs spoke to a manager. He showed her a report that claimed someone was smoking at 4:30pm which was possible because they weren’t even there and have proof. He told her that there was nothing he could do and that she needs to just dispute it with the bank. Since he refused to heck the cameras or card key logs to prove they weren’t there, is it possible that they the hotel is scamming her and her friend?
