Yorkie! Not for girls!

Yes it is 💪🏼

Back when Dairy Milk tasted nice 😔

Looks double rhe size

We used to be a proper country then

When Cadbury’s was good.

No one could complain about the general quality of life in the 90s, except those few who could see where it was going. It was paradise compared to now. It's comfier when at home, but a nightmare-inducing hellscape if you have to go to a city. Hell on earth.

The good old days when you could buy a Drifter.

Bigger chocolates cheaper prices and proper ingredients nine of these these palm oil shit

These and crisps have slowly shrunk in size each year, yet the price has grown beyond inflation. I stopped buying about 20 years ago due to that and finding out 70% + cocoa chocolate is v good for you, these are all gimmicks.

Take me back 😭😭😭

What about fags?

What were the prices in the 90's?

1990 was £1.65, 1999 was £3.64, today is £16.05. Just average/example prices.

If Yorkies cost 32p in 1991 and we apply that same cost increase, a Yorkie would cost about £2.85 today.

😱😱😱

We had it all and took it for granted

All about the transfer of wealth

Dairy milk in the foil wrapper 👌

@irishiam31 @beaglesofwi 🤗

Use to play out with £1 and could get a chocolate bar, a packet of crisps, 20p mix up, a panda pop and have some change left

I’m sure I struggled to eat a mars bar as a kid. 😂

They're tiny now compared to them

Tasted better also

Its like willy wonkas factory, truly beautiful. Living the 90s dream

Today they are tiny and full of rapeseed oil 🤮

My, how the times have changed!

Before VAT & over taxation & economical marketing was brought in

32p 🤣😭

And it was proper chocolate not like the shite they are selling today

Who remembers the chocolate bar the secret

Best time for sweeties 80s 90s

Look at what they took away from us

The 90’s, I left school in 2005, and the prices and sizes were much the same. Even in 2010 they were still the same. Not just chocolate, take fags. 2005 about £5 a packet, today £18-£20. Pepsi max, £1 for a 2l bottle, now £2.50. Milk, eggs, FUEL, GAS, ELECTRIC, cars…Everything.

Could use a yorkie as a door stop back then

Can someone tell me what the fuse bar was like, I keep hearing it was the best but never got to have one.

Enough reason for revolution on its own let alone everything else

I used to love going local shop with a £1 and getting a feast 😂

😢GBNF

The days of: Blackjack, Fruit Salad, Mojo, Freddo, Irn Bru bars, Vimto... ughhh I could go on

Whole roast almonds yorkie was best but they can’t make profit on them anymore so they removed them And replaced with half size chocolates with 20 chemicals

Not full of crap as well
