Harden started this nonsense now everyone thinks it’s cool to dribble the air out of the ball and shoot a step back. Pass the ball, get your team involved, this is low IQ hoops. Don’t be like this player. So many players still don’t use boost efficiently, even though boost management is the most important skill in the game. A good guideline is to save boost for when you’re making a play on the ball and use your movement to get to the ball. Here is a player who uses all of his boost to chase the ball, and when he ends up low on boost, he keeps chasing anyway. This leads to him bumping his teammate and giving up an easy goal.

Don’t be like this player. So many players still don’t use boost efficiently, even though boost management is the most important skill in the game. Do YOU think this was a clean tip on DBone’s first ever “no-looker” to teammate Darius Butler for the slam? For those that don’t know.. A “tip” is when you catch the ball and throw the ball during the same jump.. you’re not allowed to be in contact with the ground and the ball at the same time on the defensive side of YOUBall and MANY other driveway basketball games

This is the type of play I worry about with the Hawks picking up Ben King. At this stage of his career, he should kill a young defender in this position. This should be a simple case of holding position and taking the mark. But where is the body use? Where is the physicality? He has Harry Dean (and credit to Harry for making the spoil) in all sorts of trouble here, but allows him to get to the fall of the ball in a spot King should have owned. He has to be better than this.
