The joy over water. Because water is a chance at survival. According to relief organizations, the bare minimum amount of water needed for survival is 3 liters per person per day. Imagine a family of 5-6 trying to fetch enough water to live from a normal size 5,000 truck. There is not enough, not everyone will get their share, and families go home disappointed and distraught. WE MUST PROVIDE MORE WATER. On October 6, Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine)) x The Sameer Project visited the following neighborhoods… Khan Younis: • Beit Al Ezz Camp – 5,000 liters • al-Yarmouk Camp – 3,000 liters • al-Shorouk Camp in al-Qarara – 3,000 liters • al-Ikhwa Camp in al-Qarara – 3,000 liters Deir al-Balah: • al-Sit Amira Camp – 10,000 liters • al-Hayya Street – 10,000 liters • Jora area – 5,000 liters • Ahl al-Sham Camp – 5,000 liters • al-Majdal Camp – 5,000 liters • Fayad Street – 5,000 liters • Bakara Camp – 5,000 liters • al-Qais – 5,000 liters • al-Salam Camp in Mashalah area – 3,000 liters • al-Shams Camp – 6,000 liters • Abu Medain Street in the al-Maghazi area – 15,000 liters • Salah al-Din Street in al-Maghazi – 5,000 liters • Aqsa Hospital – 6,000 liters • Ard Abu Shaaban Camp near the College Towers – 16,000 liters • Asqlan Camp east of al-Nakhl Street – 8,000 liters al-Zawaida: • al-Safwa 1 Camp in Chalets area – 6,000 liters • al-Amal Camp – 13,000 liters (Truck 1: 5,000; Truck 2: 8,000) • Azhar al-Laymon Camp – 5,000 liters • al-Amal Camp 2 – 5,000 liters • al-Haya Camp – 15,000 liters • American Hospital Street – 10,000 liters • al-Rasheed Street – 8,000 liters • First Entrance – 10,000 liters • al-Athar Street – 10,000 liters • Chalets area – 6,000 liters • Salah al-Din Street – 6,000 liters • Trans al-Baba – 6,000 liters • al-Taabeen Street – 6,000 liters • East area – 6,000 liters • Omar Bin Abdulaziz Mosque in al-Sawarha – 6,000 liters • West area – 6,000 liters • Khattab Camp east of Abu Sweirih Nursery in al-Khattab neighborhood – 7,000 liters al-Nuseirat: • Ain Jalut Towers – 5,000 liters On this day we supported these communities with 259,000 liters of fresh drinking water. The situation in the North is horrific with a massive bombing in one of the most the crowded camps in Shati. “The ground shook so hard, it felt like a nuclear bomb,” told us our team on the ground. Your support is needed: We are witnessing a displacement of over one million people with high costs for transportation and no tents, and most importantly nowhere to stay. How much more can the Palestinians in Gaza tolerate? The Transalating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine) ) x Sameer Project insist on providing water daily despite the dangerous situation. On August 30th, we provided 141,000 liters in Gaza City: • al-Maamel area in al-Daraj – 3,000 liters • al-Sahaba in al-Daraj – 3,000 liters • al-Jazeera camp in al-Daraj – 3,000 liters • al-Yarmouk area in al-Daraj – 3,000 liters • al-Taawon Camp in al-Daraj – 6,000 liters • Yaffa Street in al-Daraj – 6,000 liters • al-Nasr Street – 6,000 liters • al-Maznaz area in al-Nasr – 6,000 liters • al-Samer junction in al-Samer – 8,000 liters • Souq Firas in al-Samer – 8,000 liters • Aggour area in al-Daraj – 8,000 liters • Municipality Park area in al-Samer – 8,000 liters • al-Mukhabarat area – 6,000 liters • al-Nasr neighborhood – 6,000 liters • al-Daraj neighborhood – 6,000 liters • Sheikh Radwan – 12,000 liters (Truck 1: 6,000, Truck 2: 6,000) • al-Rimal neighborhood – 6,000 liters • al-Karama area – 6,000 liters • Al-Shati' Refugee Camp – 11,000 liters (Truck 1: 6,000, Truck 2: 5,000) • Radio and Television area – 5,000 liters • Palestine Stadium – 5,000 liters • Ministry of Detainees area – 5,000 liters • Ansar area – 5,000 liters Donate to the North campaign for more water distributions: Other ways to donate include: (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "North aid") (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "North aid")

Scarcity of water in Northern Gaza is making the already unimaginable situation of displacements and attacks even worse. The only suitable water is brought to neighborhoods in trucks, otherwise only contaminated water that will make someone sick exists. Even salt water used for cleaning and bathing is not available. Lines form in every area we visit because families know it might be their only opportunity for days to fetch water. On Tuesday, Translating Falasteen (Translating Falasteen (Palestine)) x The Sameer Project supplied water to the following areas in the North… Gaza City: * Al Kinz Street – 5,000 liters * Al Nasr Neighborhood – 5,000 liters * Al Zawyea Street in al-Zaytoun – 16,000 liters (Truck 1: 7,000, Truck 2: 5,000, Truck 3: 4,000) * Al-Karama area – 5,000 liters * Al-Shati’ Refugee Camp – 10,000 liters (Truck 1: 5,000, Truck 2: 5,000) * Al-Shawa in Al-Tuffah neighborhood – 3,000 liters * Asqoula area in al-Zaytoun neighborhood – 4,000 liters * Bilal Bin Rabah in al-Zaytoun neighborhood – 3,000 liters * Nafak Street – 5,000 liters * Sheikh Radwan – 5,000 liters * Tal Al Hawa – 5,000 liters * Yafa Street in al-Tufah – 3,000 liters * al Nafak area in al-Daraj – 3,000 liters * al-Dahshan area in Al Sabra – 3,000 liters * al-Saraya area in al-Rimal neighborhood – 3,000 liters * al-Yarmouk area in al-Daraj neighborhood – 3,000 liters We distributed 81,000 liters as families asked us to come back the next day with more.
