Happy 4th of July Independence Day! Today, here’s a reminder of how much American Taxpayers spend on US Congress It costs an estimated $2 billion+ per year from taxpayers for Congress to operate, yet we can’t even get them to pass Voter ID: - Salary $174k - $7.6 million per year for meal reimbursements - The MRA, the members reprisational allowance is $810 million - MRA broken down is $1.5 million to each Congress Rep - Majority and Minority leadership get $37 million just for them - Actual Budget can range around $2 million per member, though some suggest it might be closer to $5 million when including all expenses - Operational Costs: $750 million for House expenses and $250 million for Senate expenses Conservative estimate total cost $1.5 million to $2 billion per year This was from a couple years ago, if you can believe it, the numbers have gone UP. Here’s the new data - Salary $174k (leadership is more) - Meal reimbursements/lodging roughly $7.6 million - The MRA (Members’ Representational Allowance) is $850 million - MRA broken down averages $1.9 million per House Member - Majority and Minority leadership get roughly $37 million, varies depending on data you look at - Actual per-member costs range around $2 million just for MRA, salary, support - The real cost per Representative is closer to $5+ million when including all allocated expenses and staff Operational Costs: $2+ billion for House and Senate operations. Conservative estimate for broader total cost is $2–7 billion+ per year

🚨 BREAKING: Gloria Camora confirms that VP Sara Duterte’s office paid ₱16 MILLION for safe house rentals over just 11 days — with 34 acknowledgment receipts as proof. 📄 Shocking Details: One receipt shows the OVP could have spent up to ₱250,000 per day in 2022 for a single safe house — far exceeding the cost of an overnight stay at most five-star hotels in the Philippines! Another receipt shows ₱500,000 for a safe house, or ₱45,000 per day! 👉 COA left in the dark: Camora reveals that the Commission on Audit has no information on what type of safe houses were rented.

Q: "How important is Venezuela now to the global oil market?" "Now, they produce about a million barrels per day, which is significant, but when you look at the global market for oil, it's a little over 100 million barrels per day," Tortoise Capital Advisors' Brian Kessens says.
