Kim Peek was an American savant born with an abnormally large head and serious developmental challenges. Doctors discovered that the bundle of nerves connecting the two hemispheres of his brain was missing. How to Resurface Brake Rotors Like a Pro. Pure ASMR . ​Got a brake pedal that feels like a foot massage every time you slow down? It’s probably time to address those warped rotors. Instead of throwing them straight into the scrap bin, you can often give them a second life by turning them on a brake lathe. ​Here is the exact step-by-step process to get that perfectly smooth, true finish: ​Step 1: Mount the Rotor ​Place the brake rotor securely onto the lathe spindle. ​Slide on the correct-sized adapters to ensure the rotor centers perfectly on the shaft. ​Thread on the arbor nut and tighten it down to lock everything firmly in place. ​Step 2: Install the Silencer Band ​Don't skip this part unless you want your eardrums ringing. Wrap the rubber anti-chatter silencer band tightly around the outer edge of the rotor. ​Secure the spring hook. As a parent, lap reading is a joy. It’s a chance to cuddle your little one, while exposing them to rich vocabulary, concepts of print, and the wonder of books. When it comes to infants, however, lap reading can deprive babies of their favorite (and most important) sight: YOU. Which is why you might want to explore face-to-face reading as well. (With your baby facing toward you and the book simultaneously.) Developmentally, there are multiple benefits to allowing your baby to see you as you read together. Your little one is an expert at “reading” your face. This posture allows your baby to track your eyes to discover what you’re tuning in to. It also allows them to watch your mouth and learn how you’re making the words and sounds that accompany the pictures. My second book (of now five) was on contextual software at Written to get ahead of Salesforce's strategy (each of our five books were written for the same reason -- to get ahead of the big company strategists -- and each did exactly that). Marc Benioff (Salesforce's CEO) wrote the forward because he liked my work. Today I saw a piece of the future of X. So this post is for Elon Musk. Grok and X needs what I just saw. Two guys from India visited my house this morning to show it to me: Jibin Mathew and Jikku Jose, founders of StoryBrain. The everything app needs to move way past TikTok if it's really going to grow. So, everything here, especially company posts to sell people on things, must become more visual and personalized (companies here are a big deal, I've found 3,600 AI companies already here and mapped them all out at They showed me that their system can generate attractive videos from: 1. An Amazon product page. 2. A PDF. 3. A Walmart product page. Or really any product page. The AI ingests them, finds important things on them to present to sell the product, and generates media for doing just that. Now why does this matter? Well, these "adaptive media" pieces need: 1. To be translated to all languages. India, alone, has more than 20 languages depending on what part of the country you are in. 2. Get the key selling/story points. 3. Learn from users. If everyone buys more on product pages with red backgrounds, it can learn that and change everything to red. 4. Work on every device. Not just new iPhones. Old shitty Android phones (no AR). TV's. Laptops. Tablets. Even watches. 5. Be personalized for culture and better results. Their team is half AI developers and has been working on generative AI to do this for four years. AI generation changes the game. If X is going to be the everything app that Elon says he wants to turn X into, then it must move toward a much more visual interface, and, soon, into 3D as well due to Vision Pro and competitors. In other words, X needs something like this. Why? 30% of the human brain is for visual processing. They process visual pieces like this much faster than the text that GPT generates. There are many millions of people who can't read at all, too. Can someone who is selling, say, jewelry, or travel, or, "everything," easily make these new pieces to push to social media? In an "everything" app it needs to be super simple. Also, by generating these on the fly (with some precaching) you can ensure they are always up to date and topical. This was my second startup of the morning. Starting the week with a bang!

This guy spent several days teaching a tabletop robot arm to roll a burrito and when one could not do it he did not rewrite the controller he printed 2 more and launched a 3-arm setup for about $1,000. He does not rewrite the software, does not wait for a smarter model, does not update the imitation weights, he just prints another arm and connects it to the existing leader-follower through LeRobot, nonstop. And it got more interesting: the hardware of one arm is a DIY kit SO-101 for about $300 to $400 on STS3215 bus servos, coordination between the arms goes through leader-follower teleoperation in Hugging Face LeRobot, and replication goes through a Bambu Lab A1 for $399 that prints a copy in a day. It knows the position of the tortilla by the leader-arm coordinates at the start, knows the handoff moment between the arms by the fold phase, and knows the final rolling from the sequence of demonstrations from teleop sessions. And it even distributes the work between the arms, one does the initial folds, the second holds the tortilla still, the third performs the final rolling, depending on which phase the burrito is currently in. In one 57-second demonstration 3 arms rolled a burrito for the first time without human involvement, and the total stack cost less than $1,000 in hardware versus a UR5 at $25,000 or an industrial burrito machine Solbern BR-1500 that costs about $50,000. The viewer is not watching 3 robots rolling a burrito. The viewer is watching permission to believe in a future where a kitchen task on $1,000 of hardware is done by the same loop as an industrial one at $50,000. Here is what happens when the bottleneck stops being the intelligence of the controller and the quality of the imitation model, and becomes the number of arms in the setup, and for a maker with a 3D printer the number of arms is limited only by print time. 3 arms do not get tired between sessions, do not require retraining when a new one is added, do not degrade from repetition, and every next burrito goes through the same teleop pipeline at the same quality as the first. Here’s a simple workaround. 🔹 Download the PDF of the SIR–2026 Draft Roll for your Polling Station 🔹 Right-click → Open with the latest version of Google Chrome (Desktop/Laptop only) 🔹 Chrome magically makes the PDF searchable, even though the Spokesperson ECI had rendered it machine non-readable on almost all standard PDF readers, including Adobe. 👉 This means Ctrl + F works in Chrome, sparing you the eye-straining, page-by-page hunt. I am attaching screen recording. Trust me: I spent nearly 15 minutes manually scanning every page of the correct polling booth and still couldn’t find my name. This trick worked instantly. #GyaneshKumar certainly makes life “interesting” for those of us who enjoy pushing technology to its limits 😃 Background (Why this hack is needed): ✅ Since 2023, Election Commission of India has been issuing Electoral Rolls in machine non-readable PDFs. As a result, searching names using Ctrl+F is disabled on most PDF readers. ✅ Shockingly, even EPIC numbers are not searchable in the SIR Draft Roll PDFs, arguably in violation of directions of the #SupremeCourtofIndia, making verification unnecessarily cumbersome. ✅ Searching by EPIC number or personal details on only gives the serial number in the existing Electoral Roll, which may not match the serial number in the SIR Draft Roll–2026, because: Some voters above you may not have submitted enrolment forms, or Their data could not be mapped till now with the 2002–03 SIR database. ✅ Opening the PDF in the latest Chrome (Desktop) solves this problem. ✅ For Indian language rolls (including Hindi), use a Unicode-enabled keyboard such as the Microsoft Indic Language Input Tool or similar. ⚠️ Note: This workaround works on a PC/laptop only. After all, the Electoral Roll only has age and address. A democracy survives on one person–one vote, not on opacity disguised as data protection. They’re offering up a product which encourages people to be self-absorbed and uncaring, and offload all responsibility and thoughtfulness and consideration for their intimate partners to a machine. The AI industry is a mix of military technology, mass surveillance technology, and people trying to become billionaires by turning human laziness and narcissism into a chatbot product. ❖ Today in dystopia, Israel is paying millions of dollars to manipulate what chatbots tell their users about the Zionist project. Drop Site News reports that former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale has been setting up hundreds of blog posts designed not for human eyes, but for the express purpose of being sucked up by web crawlers for AI training materials. “And it is working,” writes Drop Site’s Nick Cleveland-Stout, saying that according to disinformation experts who’ve reviewed the data, “tens of millions of Americans who use chatbots are increasingly likely to receive answers manipulated by Parscale on behalf of the Israeli government.” Drop Site found that Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and Perplexity were the AI companies most vulnerable to Parscale’s manipulations, with his network frequently appearing in their training data. These new technologies are getting inflicted upon our society with no regulation and no regard for any of their consequences, because under neoliberal capitalism the best decision is always the one that makes the most money.
