I really wish they continue to milk the franchise. Seeing more timelines with alternated first few episodes to holy moly endings and then reset again would be fun to see from time to time

1995 version is better, no question
Never having watched Evangelion, I'd say overall, I prefer the old one more. It has a better sense of drama and atmosphere. The new one has some good points, but it also lacks in certain aspects.

Color, framing, anticipation, and timing is always better in the original. Will always just feel like good cinema.
