TMC Councillor Mohammed Jasimuddin has been arrested in a 2023 POCSO case. Listen to the victim (video recorded in January 2026). She appealed to Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee to take action against Jasimuddin. Instead, the police allegedly visited her family’s home and threatened them. According to the victim, Jasimuddin also offered money to settle the case and was willing to pay ₹20 lakh for its withdrawal.
