Byrd Ficklin was a 3 star recruit with 1 power 4 offer. He was committed to Texas State. He also had offers from north Texas, Sam Houston, Tulsa, and utsa. It’s amazing in today’s day and age a guy like this can fly under the radar. #GoUtes

Last year Texas A&M hurt Notre Dame with 5 wide double slants to the field and bubble screen action to the trips side, so Mike Denbrock put it in the playbook and it went the exact same way.

Loved this set so much from UNC. Those coffin corner sideline inbounds can be tough, and I love how they used the angle to their advantage with this set. Two down screens for Stevenson to fly across to take his man to opposite wing, Veesaar flips to screen for the second screener in Evans. The misdirection gets Council a step late following Evans. That forces Bidunga to fly out high toward the shooter to open the lane, and Veesaar rolls into a wide open paint. Beautiful architecture and spacing here.

🚨 CNBC's negative bias on silver I watched CNBC yesterday, and maybe 20 different people talking about silver: ➡️ not a word about China’s industrial needs, and how they need to refill SGE/SFE. ➡️ not a word about the ETFs in India requiring a lot of silver ➡️ not a word about China implementing export restrictions 1st of January ➡️ not a word about the once-in-a-lifetime shift for green energy ➡️ not a word about the Samsung 1 kilo silver battery ➡️ not a word about BRICS and how they are moving away from the dollar ➡️ not a word about how silver paper price is set ➡️ not a word about the banks losing control of the price mechanism ➡️ not a word about the shift in short positions ➡️ not a word about the huge inflow to silver ETFs ➡️ not a word about the physical tightness in London ➡️ suggesting shorting silver and go long gold 🚨There was not one single guy from the mining industry or long-term investors, like Eric Sprott, Rick Rule , GoldSilver , David Morgan , Peter Schiff , Andy Schectman , James Henry Anderson , Josh Philip Phair , EB Tucker or Keith Neumeyer. With the price gains in 2025 certainly all of these people should be on the screen, and there are a lot of other candiates as well. In stead CNBC just interview paper traders who either call it a trade or who are negative, while CNBC staff lauging, shaking their heads saying silver is overpriced. On CBNC, what other commodity or company would have nobody representing the long-term investor side? The way silver is mocked in the western world makes me certain China will win the silver-war.

🚨 A MASSIVE Shift happened overnight with the Weather Models that has pushed the heaviest Snow Zone roughly 200 miles north ⬆️ ❄️ This means areas like Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and even parts of the Northeast may now see higher Snow totals than previously expected. 🧊 On the flip side, this shift also increases the risk of Sleet and Freezing Rain for areas that were hoping for Snow, including Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Virginia, and the Carolinas. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: These shifts DO NOT remove the threat of a CRIPPLING Ice Storm in the South. That risk has not changed. Places like Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Virginia, and the Carolinas should prepare NOW for potentially crippling ice accumulations. ‼️WE ARE STILL EXPECTING MORE SHIFTS IN THE FUTURE. But this is now a Trend we need to watch CLOSELY‼️ 👀 I’ll keep watching the models LIKE A HAWK 🦅 👊 See you on the next one, my brotheren

This afternoon I point west… back across the Atlantic to Dallas. It’s been a while. There’s something quietly special about a North Atlantic crossing. On a map it looks simple, a straight line between continents. In reality, it’s anything but. Each day, a set of invisible highways is drawn across the ocean: the North Atlantic Track (NAT) system. These tracks aren’t permanent. They move. Every 24 hours they’re rebuilt to align with the jet streams, eastbound flights riding the tailwinds for efficiency, westbound flights stepping north or south to avoid punishing headwinds. It’s choreography between aircraft and atmosphere. Instead of fixed airways, we fly along these daily-published tracks, spaced carefully to maintain separation in a sky with no radar coverage. Position reports, time estimates, datalink messages, precision layered over thousands of miles of water. It’s aviation at its purest: planning, physics, trust. Somewhere along that great circle route the sun will slip beneath the horizon ahead of us. And by early evening, local time, Texas. I’m looking forward to catching up with Doug Dunbar. Familiar laughter. And some properly done BBQ, the kind that requires patience measured in hours, not minutes. Brisket that yields rather than resists. So Dallas friends… DFW Airport DFW Tower here we come 🙌🏻✈️ #PilotLife #NorthAtlantic #NATTracks #LongHaul #AvGeek #A350 #FlightDeckView #DallasBound #TexasBBQ #AirlineLife #GreatCircle #AboveTheClouds

So this is a weird one. I was looking at flight radar cause they just decided to drop like infinite trails in a row and I noticed a helicopter with strange markings I have never seen in the the middle of deep Maine woods. North of Jackman(for reference on sat imagery) I zoom into this little tiny helicopter pad in the middle of nowhere, literally, I’ve been up there and there’s nothing. Right next to the helicopter pad is a strange facility that looks a lot like it has a bunch of radar. While I’m screen recording the helicopter disappears, I go back to check the history to get a screenshot of the information, and it’s been erased. 🤔🤔🤔 so just for poops and giggles I checked the satellite imagery from that area to see if there’s any strange affects happening in cloud structure, and weirdly enough, that location seems to be the center of some very frequency type cloud structures, and there’s a couple weird anomaly lines that pop up.

🇱🇻🇷🇺 Latvia is installing “Dragon’s Teeth” anti-tank obstacles along its border with Russia to slow down potential armored advances. These concrete fortifications are being erected on lands previously expropriated from private owners for national defense needs. Each “Dragon’s Tooth” block weighs approximately 1.5 tons and is being placed in three rows, creating a protective barrier about 10 meters wide. The spacing between the blocks is narrow enough to make passage by any military vehicles nearly impossible. Production and supply of the blocks began in 2024, with installation on state and municipal lands starting in 2025. The process has now extended to privately owned plots. This is another concrete sign of the Baltic states’ serious preparation for a possible Russian military threat. Latvia’s large-scale deployment of anti-tank obstacles demonstrates a clear shift from purely political statements to practical defensive measures aimed at complicating any rapid armored incursion through the region. 166,700 neurons from a male fruit fly's brain are teaching a pair of silicone lips to talk. A steel frame, a silicone tongue, a row of motors under the jaw and a microphone pointed straight at the mouth, with no speaker anywhere. Air pushes through artificial vocal cords, the motors bend the lips and the microphone catches every sound it makes. If the pitch is off, the motors shift before the next try. Nobody coded the words: it finds each lip shape by trial and error and uses old sounds to guess new ones. Babies learn to talk the same way: babble, listen, fix, repeat. The new part is the brain in the corner of the screen, with 166,700 neurons and 125 million synapses packed into something smaller than a poppy seed. Scientists spent 10 years mapping every wire, and the job took 44 years of human labor. Male fruit flies already sing: they buzz 1 wing to court a female, and she hears the song through her antennae. That song never had a mouth until now. A trained linear readout turns its spikes into words and the mouth does the rest. You needed 86 billion neurons and 12 months to say "mama." The fly needs 166,700 and a microphone.

Cowboy Cooper & Cowgirl Buttercup: The Tiniest Rodeo Duo Stealin’ Hearts on the Homestead” 🐐🤠 Out on the family ranch where the sun rises over rolling pastures and the only screen time is the big blue sky, little Cowboy Cooper has found his perfect trail partner. Meet Cowgirl Buttercup — the sassy, sweet pet goat who’s traded in the barnyard for boots (well, hooves) and a whole lot of adventure! Whether they’re trotting through the wildflowers, practicing their roping skills on imaginary outlaws, or just sharing a quiet moment under the morning light, this dynamic duo proves that the best friendships come with floppy ears and a whole lot of heart. Buttercup follows her cowboy everywhere, her little bell jingling like a country melody, while Cooper beams with that pure, wide-eyed joy only a kid raised close to the land can have. No fancy gadgets, no scripted lines — just pure, unplugged ranch life magic. A huge thank you to @rachelvickfamily for capturing these precious moments and reminding us all what childhood should look like: dirt on the boots, love in the air, and a loyal goat by your side. Yeehaw and a big ol’ “baaa” to the cutest crew in Texas! 🌼🐐❤️

🇵🇰🚀 Pakistan Completes EO-3 Launch, Accelerating Its Satellite Constellation Drive Pakistan has successfully placed its PRSC EO-3 Earth Observation Satellite into orbit, marking a significant step in the country’s expanding space programme. The satellite, developed domestically by SUPARCO, was launched from China’s Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, underscoring a model of local manufacturing supported by external launch capability. EO-3 completes a three satellite Earth Observation series: ◽EO-1 (2025) ◽EO-2 (February 2026) ◽EO-3 (latest launch) Together, they form the backbone of a planned integrated Earth Observation system aimed at improving data availability and coverage. Pakistan now operates 5+ Earth observation satellites, with most deployed in the last two years, highlighting a noticeable acceleration in activity. Officials describe the programme as part of a broader shift: 📡 From isolated missions → to a coordinated satellite network From external reliance → to increasing data independence 🚀 From slow launches → to a structured rollout strategy The EO-3 mission also reflects continued technical cooperation with China, particularly in launch services. With additional satellites expected in the coming years, Pakistan appears to be moving toward a multi satellite constellation designed for regular, wide area monitoring. The direction is clear: a steady build up rather than a one off achievement.
