Once he snakes in, Felix is already on that run. If he snakes back out, Felix is going airborne and people are talking about if we should ever have an Indy 500 again. David raced cleanly. Felix raced cleanly. It just wasn't meant to be.

I think had he continued fading outside he might have lost less momentum, but Felix used his hybrid and still likely would have got him on the inside.

I think if he had just gone right a bit it *could* have made Fro move a bit more and when it’s down to such small margins that could have been enough. But it’s only a guess and I honestly don’t think he should feel bad at all.

If you watch from Rosenqvist’s cockpit, looks like Malukas ran a catastrophic third turn. After Fro’s throttle lift in one and then side-by-side racing through all four turns, Malukas should’ve have run away. Amazing race by Malukas, just might’ve lost focus or got cautious?

He drove his ass off on this last lap - FROs landrocket just came with so much speed out of Turn 4, there was no chance! You did well, lad.

He lost this Indy 500 in Turn 3. On the final lap, that corner is the most important of all, because it’s the one that makes you suffer the least when a drag race happens. Just ask Marco Andretti in 2006 and Pato O'Ward in 2024. It was that corner that secured the victory for Al Unser Jr. in 1992 and Ryan Hunter-Reay in 2014.

These cars produce a massive tow that it will come down to a massive block one of these years. The car in 2nd has a huge advantage. I can also see team shenanigans by pitting a car and having it tow the leader/teammate.

He didn't expect FRO super last lap. If he had positioned his car in front of Armstrong, he probably would have won the race because he didn't have the same fast setup as FRO.
