.22LR vs .45 ACP

Turns out .38 S&W was the surprise winner.

Yeah...that 9mm compact in his pocket did the job just fine. Frankly, even if he shot the .22, the guy wouldn't be walking away from it. That .45 probably has seven rounds in it. The .22 could have way more and if you aren't wearing some kind of protection, .22 will still kill.

22. I have accuracy and distance 45 blows fricking holes through everything but that 22 still F you up.

22 is better than nothing but so is a sharp stick.

All I can tell you is when I was a Medic in Miami in the 80's, I saw a lot of death from 45 APC & a lot of people survive from .22 GSW's...
