I'll never understand why people seem to believe a .22 round will just bounce off their skin or stop in the body after a few short cm. A bullet is a bullet is a bullet is a bullet. I'd be just as afraid of being shot with a .22 as a .50

.22 LR loves to jump around in peoples bodies. Same reason we use .223 in the military. Just spins and destroys. I still prefer.308, and other rounds. But a .22lr will absolutely kill you.

Actually the .22 was declared the deadliest caliber. More people are killed by the .22 than any other round.

Stopping power isn't about caliber. It's REPEAT shots to heart and brain. .22 Stingers do an excellent job of turning tissue into mincemeat. But I don't trust .22 semi auto. Too unreliable, but is Ok for a revolver. I like my 17 rounds of 9mm Glock. The more the merrier.
