Which one you prefer? 45acp or 9mm?

45 hit the steel door frame going in, 9mm went through some thin metal and missed and pieces of the steel frame. Sheesh yall

So what types of rounds were we using for the test? Were the rounds from the same manufacture and type, with as similar in weight as can be obtained? Point being is this is a useless example without controls in place, as the viewer of the video has no idea. In general 9mm is a smaller, faster round and a 45 ACP is a larger and slower round. With that basic premise out of the way more controls to the testing need to be vetted out.

He put that 45 right thru the steel brace for the arm rest... Either will easily penetrate a car door with ball ammo. The guy is an idiot.

.45 vs. 9mm is always great for stirring up the shit. Gotta love it. 😁

9mm is my backup for my .45. Some hide a spare key, and I hide spare equalizer.

9mm for edc and 45 for nightstand

Possibly but there are metal objects that would stop a pistol bullet in your car door. You would have to take the same doors and shoot in the same spot. Or fire multiple shots in various places to see the over all damage.

What ammo was he using? I’ve put 45 ball through a car door in the line of duty no problem. Used to carry a mag of ball just for penetration, the 90’s were a weird time for LE. 🤷‍♂️

45. Bigger hole. 45 probably hit the cross member in the door. 9 didn't.
