OF Trevor Condon (Tennessee Baseball) was one of my favorite position players I saw in Jupiter. Collected 7 hits (1 XBH) and 4 RBIs across 5 games. Slightly undersized, but there's some impact (mainly to the pull side) packed into his frame. Wiry, athletic build at 5'11" and 175-lbs. Prototypical top-of-the-order table setter. Explosive and twitchy operation in the box with no-doubt plus bat speed. Feel for the barrel is there, high-level bat-to-ball skills. Controlled the zone well with polished swing decisions in my looks last week. Does tend to hit the ball on the ground, would like to see more line drives. Hit-over-power profile with some PS thump. Gets out of the box unbelievably quick, turned in 70-grade run times. Condon's tantalizing combination of speed and athleticism translates well to centerfield. He can really go and get it and has plenty of range, but if he can shore up his routes (take a more efficient, crisp path to the baseball) he has a chance to become an impact defender. The intangibles with Condon are a nice cherry on top. Advanced baseball sense; stole 2nd on a great dirt ball read, swiped 3rd on a well-executed shuffle lead. Incredibly high motor, plays with his hair on fire. Does not take a pitch off! Always involved, brings the juice! Like the Energizer bunny. Kind of a throwback player in that sense - it's clear he LOVES to play! Think along the lines of Sal Frelick/Slater de Brun (SDB better defender at this point with more of a physical, barrel-chested look). Top 2-3 round type for me this July.

#Chipola ‘26 SS Devin Kendall 17U Nation 6’3 175. Top of scale run (3.92 bunt, 3.99-4.01) w/ pro actions & lightning twitch in box make him the most athletic 2026 draft prospect in a top 5 MLB player producing state (GA). Standout ease of effort & body balance in all facets. Near plus bat speed well before physical ceiling. 1st step quickness and lengthy gliding strides will allow top of scale run to play true on basepaths. Could be special defender in CF. Natural reads, standout range, and rare footwork at SS w/ future AVG arm. Turns 18 just days b4 draft. This is a potential plus defender in CF for me with future A/AVG or better defense at 2B the backup plan (if arm ends up light for SS). Outside of elite athleticism - his spin recognition, ability to ctrl effort, rhythm+timing, and feel 2 waste pitches lead me to believe it’s an AVG hit tool down the line. The fact he’s played much less high level baseball compared to other GA ‘26 prospects should not be held against him, it’s a positive for his ceiling as a hitter and overall. This caliber of athlete will fly past peers when seasoned vs quality arms. Prototype CF/SS frame w/ future top of scale bat speed as he physically matures should bring easy 6 raw power.

On 11/21/2025, the NXR guys (Joel Webbon Wesley Todd (Sensible Moderate) Antonio Griffith) filmed an episode about the most important and sacred religion in the west: Holocaustianity. During one portion of the conversation, they were discussing why the portion of the narrative with the least primary sources (ovens and gas chambers) is the biggest area of focus for the media and historians. And, during a 20 second portion, Joel and Wes pointed out the logistical issues involved. Well, the totally-not-obsessed-with-H*tler account (HHC) clipped this 20 seconds and mashed it up with a Stone Choir clip that (I guess?) was making the same point. Eli McGowan gave it a signal boost, which in turn got it on James White’s radar. But let’s be real, it was probably sent to James via DM with the hopes of a pat on the head. In my clip, you’ll be able to see James introducing and then responding to NXR, but after that I have provided the full context from the NXR episode (episode linked below), with the out-of-context portion marked with a caption. SS Marek Houston (Wake Forest Baseball) is one of the premier college infielders in this year's Draft. After earning the starting SS job as a true Freshman, Houston had a standout summer with the Amsterdam Mohawks in which he hit .429/.557/.548 with 4 XBH and 13 RBIs in 17 games. He proceeded to break out last season to the tune of a .326/.434/.516 slash line with 16 2B, 8 HR, and 39 RBIs. Had an impressive summer that was split between the Cape and Team USA. Did what very few college players do anymore and started on the Cape, went to Team USA, and finished out the summer back on the Cape. Was a CCBL All-Star and hit .306/.465/.329 with more BB (26) than Ks (21). Lean, athletic build at 6'3" and 190-lbs. Pro body. Somewhat wide base in the box with a medium-high handset. Puts the majority of his weight on his back side. Minimal load in which he wraps his bat a bit. Small stride with average bat speed. Will eliminate his stride and widen his base in 2-strike counts. Takes a direct path to contact. Compact, contact-oriented operation. Does a nice job of consistently working inside the baseball. The most appealing part of Houston's offensive profile is how polished his hit tool is. Bat-to-ball skills are comfortably plus and last season he ran an overall IZ contact rate of 92%. Pitch recognition skills and swing decisions are both advanced, and this summer on the Cape he worked a remarkably low overall chase rate of 16% - including just 8% against SL. Will use the entire field. It's a bit of a cliche, but he hits the pitch where it's thrown. Hit tool is without a doubt a 55, but closer to a 60 than it is a 55. Biggest question mark right now is his impact and how much is in there. Flashed some pull side thump during the spring, but it's below-average power with wood. Again though, you're buying the hit tool. Adding impact both this year and beyond is key, though. Houston's calling card is undoubtedly his defense. Pro shortstop through and through. Silky smooth actions, range both up the middle and to his arm side. Comfortable attacking the baseball and throwing on the run/from different arm angles. Soft hands with an above-average arm. Instincts are high level. He does a great job of staying behind the baseball then working THROUGH it on a line. The epitome of "suave!" Top-40 overall type this July. (🎥: Wake Forest Baseball)

SS Dean Curley (Tennessee Baseball) is one of the top Sophomore-eligible prospects in this year's Draft. Earned the starting shortstop job as a Freshman and hit .285/.386/.502 with 10 2B, 12 HR, and 50 RBIs. After winning the National Title, Curley also enjoyed a productive stint with Team USA. Curley has a big league body at 6'3" and 212-lbs with length in his lower-half and strength and physicality throughout. Slightly crouched setup in the box with a medium-high handset. Small stride with a minimal load in which he deploys a slight barrel tip. Curley has big time hand speed and an engaged lower-1/2 - fan of the scissor action with his back leg. It's an under control operation/easy operation with minimal moving parts, and one in which he takes a short and direct path to contact. Head stays level. There's a really appealing compact explosiveness to it. Curley has a knack for finding the barrel to go along with plus bat-to-ball skills. Sported an overall IZ contact rate of 90% last season, including 93% against FB. Difficult to beat with the heater and handles velocity well. Hit .304/.515/.348 against 94+, including .500/.611/.571 against 95+ (albeit a smaller sample size). While there's some swing and miss against spin, Curley has a sound approach and his swing decisions are polished. Pitch recognition skills took a step forward with Team USA, curious to see if that carries over into the spring. Comfortable giving the hit tool a 50 right now, though it's closer to a 55. On top of his hitability, Curley has above-average raw power (plus to the pull side). His highest quality of contact—and the vast majority of his HR power—is to the PS, but he has the strength to drive the baseball to all fields. Routinely impacts the baseball and is able to do so with relative ease. On top of his 90th-percentile EV of 107, Curley posted a Max EV of 110.8. Very enticing hit-power blend. Ichikawa - who wins $2 million at the Tangiers before Sam Rothstein sabotages his flight home and lures him back to the casino - was based on real Tokyo real-estate mogul and legendary high roller Akio Kashiwagi. Known as “The Warrior,” Kashiwagi was one of the most notorious baccarat whales of the late twentieth century, reputedly playing over “$30,000 a hand” and nearly bankrupting several casinos. And like Ichikawa, he was also infamously cheap, reportedly taking “free soap, shampoo and towels” from luxury hotel suites. However, the real-life Sam Rothstein, Frank “Lefty” Rosenthal, never crossed paths with Kashiwagi. Their stories belong to different eras: Kashiwagi’s gambling spree peaked in the late 80s and early 90s, long after Rosenthal had been barred from the casino industry. The showdown between Ichikawa and Rothstein in Casino was instead loosely inspired by Kashiwagi’s infamous high-stakes clash with real-estate mogul and future U.S. president Donald Trump. In February 1990, Donald Trump flew Akio Kashiwagi to Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, put him up in an ocean-view penthouse, and reserved a private baccarat table just for him. Kashiwagi arrived with $6 million and received another $6 million in credit, but after two days he left up $6.2 million. Unwilling to accept the loss, Trump lured Kashiwagi back on terms that made it almost impossible for him to win again. He offered an informal “freeze-out” agreement: Kashiwagi would bring $12 million to the table and play until he had either doubled it or lost everything. Knowing the odds would eventually swing back in the house’s favor over a long enough session, Trump counted on Kashiwagi being unable to resist the challenge. He took the bait. Hey Jack, I spent the first 23 years of my life in Tehran, in a lower-middle-class neighborhood. I am not sure what you’re trying to say with this video, but posting cherry-picked clips without any real context? That’s straight-up propaganda. That short clip shows the shiny side of Tehran, a handful of upscale districts with nice cars, trendy coffee shops, and women rocking loose hijabs or none at all. Sure, those places exist. But they’re not the full picture. Not even close. Most of Tehran, and Iran, looks nothing like that. The majority of people are just trying to survive day to day. I know because I lived it. I was born and raised there. I’ve watched little kids digging through trash bins for plastic bottles just so they could sell them and maybe eat that night. Child labor is a huge crisis in Iran. I’ve traveled all over the country, and Tehran isn’t Iran. It’s the capital, the showcase. (look up کودکان کار on X and see it for yourself) In some towns and villages, people don’t even have clean drinking water. Kids walk miles carrying buckets to rivers or marshes, and some have lost limbs, or worse, to crocodile attacks while doing it. In other places, there are no bridges, so every morning children cross rushing rivers on foot just to get to school… if there even is a school. A lot of towns in the South east of Iran have no proper classrooms. Kids sit on the dirt floor inside tents, trying to learn. You can’t cover up that level of suffering with a few glossy seconds of footage from the rich neighborhoods. I have seen the real Iran with my own eyes,the struggle, the suffering of ordinary people.
