Chester made it out of Ridglan Farms today. This morning, he was still inside a testing facility. Tonight, after two years in a cage, he’s inside a home — with his new mom, Zoe Rosenberg. I’m facing felony charges for rescuing dogs from Ridglan. But watching Chester walk into a home for the first time shows me why it’s all worth it. Dogs like Chester deserve to be safe and loved. And there are dogs like him stuck in labs across the country. Soon, we will bring them all home. ❤️

Today I went to the zoo with scharo. Even though it was a weekday, there were so many people crowded around that it was hard to take proper photos. Fortunately, since scharo is tall, I was able to get a good shot of Punch. Around us, there were many overseas media crews (I won't go into details) holding big cameras and capturing Punch as well. I also spoke with the zookeeper who was there. We talked about donations too, but they were extremely busy with work today, and since we showed up suddenly, we've decided to contact the zoo in advance by phone next time and visit to make the donation. Probably sometime next week. We're also planning to put up a billboard ad in NY. I've asked a friend who's a designer to create a proper banner ad for us, and it should be completed and launched within the next two weeks. I'll report back on that later. Punch's story is far from over. Still very bullish 🚀

💔 Taz is scared, and you can see it in his eyes. Found roaming the streets alone, this sweet 2-year-old now spends his days trembling in a shelter kennel, unsure of what comes next. After releasing cctv footage of 2 men who each stole a custom leather Digital Spenders Club jacket at our Miami Accelerate pop up, we received a flood of tips, photos, videos, and messages of support from so many of you (as well as some embarrassing attempts at rage bait engagement farming) Today, thanks to some serendipitous filming, we are releasing clear photos of the two clowns who thought they were better than everyone else. We’ve cross-referenced time stamps and the cctv footage to confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that these are our culprits. If anyone knows who they are, PLEASE DM us, publicly name them, or shame them however you see fit. Let’s make sure they know this rugger behavior has no place in our community. From the moment I received the flour until now, my tears have not stopped — but this time, they were tears of joy and gratitude for what God has granted me today. It has been a long time since I have seen my daughter so calm and at peace. When she received the bread along with a little food, she held the piece of bread in her tiny hands, unable to believe it: Is this real bread, or just a beautiful dream? Alhamdulillah, today we baked the bread ourselves and ate together as a family. It was a moment of blessing that I had long missed and only now realize how precious it is. Finally, I can only thank you from the depths of my heart for your care, kindness, and constant support for us. You are our strength and our hope in these difficult times. All my love to you all.❤️🙏

( That Mvua Mdogo, you said ) In all the years since these houses were built in the early 80s, they have stood firm and never suffered such damage. They were built to last, and they have lasted, until now. The unplanned high-rises have been springing up all around our property for the past couple of years. Construction is happening beacon to beacon, without proper infrastructure, drainage, or consideration for existing homes. This reckless building is choking the systems that once worked, and now homes that survived four decades of Nairobi weather are being flooded. The video shared by a neighbour speaks for itself. Houses are flooded, tenants are distressed, and I now face a tenant who was meant to move in this month asking questions about safety. Who will compensate us? Who takes responsibility for the chaos caused by careless approvals and construction without planning for basic infrastructure? UPDATE ❤️ The person who sent us this heartbreaking case has now managed to locate the puppies. Their mother had hidden them deep inside a tunnel near the school. This little family is still very vulnerable, but at least we now know where the babies are. Our team is planning to visit again over the weekend when the school is quieter and safer, and we will do everything we can to bring this family to safety. For the past five years, we have almost always shown you the final happy ending — the rescue safely on a bed, eating, resting and loved. But the reality behind the scenes is becoming harder every day. Because of the ongoing dog culling crisis, our shelter is already overwhelmed with mothers and puppies. Every day we face painful decisions we never had to face before. If more amazing supporters like you could set up even a very small monthly donation, it would mean that when the next desperate mother appears, we would not have to stop and wonder whether we can afford to say yes.
