This trio is the most honest prescription for modern parenting I’ve seen. Good Inside: Fixes the Emotional Code. (Connection before correction. Kids are good inside, not giving you a hard time, they're having a hard time.) Of Boys and Men: Fixes the Cultural Code. (Confronts the structural disadvantages and lack of purpose facing the modern male. A necessary, un-sentimental look.) Range: Fixes the Career Code. (The anti-Tiger Woods rule. Focus on breadth, sampling and late specialization to prepare kids for a wicked/complex world, not a 'kind' one.) You need the empathy (Good Inside), the structural awareness (Of Boys and Men), and the long term career philosophy (Range). The modern parent's job is to build a resilient generalist with a deep emotional toolkit. Which one did you read first? 📚

Totally agree on Range. Was only talking about it today as a parenting book.
