3 dangerous situations for United that went by because there wasn’t enough gate work. We need the players to have a collective intention to breach gates in the final 3rd, rather than players primarily looking to create the best situation for themselves.

mbeumo has to make a run inside in the first clip, this is why we need to coach more final actions cos how are we clueless in a 2v2

I may be wrong, but it appears the players are unsuited to the zones they actually occupy. Cunha needs to connect w/#9 from the left side, Rashford wants to get in behind, Mbeumo needs that player on the last line to utilise the space and shoot.

No, it wasn’t a called play. No, it wasn’t great shot selection. But, sometimes you need to let your players be better players than you are a coach. I’ve been lucky to have these kinds of players often enough to not get in the way.

BEING TOO UNSELFISH CAN HURT YOUR TEAM We want players to be unselfish, put the team first, and do whatever it takes to get the win. However, we do have players that are unselfish to a fault. Meaning they miss opportunities to score or create for themselves. They think they are doing what’s best for the team, but in reality they are hurting their team bc they are passing up on the best opportunity. Be unselfish, but understand the times that you need to get yours!

We like the players that we have, and we like the players that we have on the come. Did we look to upgrade, engage on infield opportunities?...there was nothing we were able to find there. It was going to be a high bar. We do think that we have the players, overall, that can compete for a championship. We're happy that we were able to bring in Ramos and Garcia to solve some of the problems. We're looking forward now to getting the other guys back from the IL, to fortify and finish this off super-charged."
