🚨 A Racist Texas Youth Softball Team BANNED After Players Made MONKEY NOISES At 13-Year-Old Pitcher A Texas youth softball team got banned after its players spent an entire game making monkey noises at a 13-year-old pitcher and the opposing team’s coach had to fight just to get anyone to take it seriously. During a girls’ youth softball game on May 9, players from the Texas Charm team directed monkey-like noises at a 13-year-old pitcher from the Texas Terminators. According to witnesses, the taunting happened multiple times while she was pitching, batting, and even during postgame handshakes. • Texas Charm (accused of the racial taunting) • Texas Terminators (team of the targeted pitcher) The Texas Terminators coach raised concerns during the game, but officials initially refused to act. Only after video evidence was submitted did USSSA investigate and ultimately ban the Texas Charm team from tournaments. The pitcher’s mother said the ban isn’t enough. She stated the behavior continued throughout the game with no intervention and is demanding accountability and an apology from the opposing team. Her family is speaking out so this kind of racist taunting doesn’t happen to other young athletes.

This play right here that happened during this girls softball game doesn’t happen very often. The center fielder throws the ball home to try and get the runner coming around third. The pitcher catches the ball near home, up the line a little bit and the runner bulldozes her over. But the little pitcher holds onto the ball. Runner is out! While the pitcher is down in pain, the following runner who reached third on the play decides she is going to try and score while the pitcher is hurt. But, the pitcher gets up and tags her out too! Two outs at home by the pitcher! I love tough kids! 💯 Do you think that first runner should have been ejected for running the pitcher over? Or do you think it was a clean, hard, play? Ever seen a pitcher make two outs at home during the same sequence of play?
