3 things all last minute Lightfall preppers should consider doing before Destiny 2's 24 hour downtime: 1) Strip your mods from your armor. Held over mods have proven to be prickly in season past and with mod system and artifact changes, better safe than sorry.

2) Move all the weapons and armor pieces you want on your character at launch to that character. @ThisIsDIM and other vault services will be down for some period of time tomorrow. If you don't do this today, you'll find yourself running gear relay races on Tuesday.

3) Marie Kondo your Vault. You don't need that 23rd Ikelos SMG. That Wendy you farmed this week that's a 2/5 will be upstaged next week. Look over your vault in @D2Recipes. Find the weapons that bring you joy and keep them. Delete what you don't use.

@DANFlNlTY How dare you imply I keep weapons that aren’t great or hold heavy emotional value. They’re all valuable dammit

They are pixels that will disappear one day when servers get shut down.

@DANFlNlTY I would add get a good night sleep, and since most folks won’t leave the pc screen, get some vitamins, electrolytes, don’t forget to take breaks, get up and walk around.

Solid additions!

@DANFlNlTY @landfell can tell you who he got this from, but having the directions was really helpful for me 👨🏼🍳🤌🏼

@DANFlNlTY Everybody freaking out over something that happened once a long time ago

Just looking out, man. Would rather people have a good time than send Bungie CMs harassing messages for stuff that long time veterans take for granted.

🛠️ Guide 🛠️ Safest way to Mod Marvel Rivals ( Season 10,5 + ) : This post will be a step by step guide to how to correctly mod marvel rivals, it will include text guide and a video that showcase each step 🤓 • Step 1 : Open your game folder • Steam : Library → right-click Marvel Rivals → Manage → Browse local files Epic Games : Library → right-click Marvel Rivals → Manage → click the folder icon next to Installation ( in the video i use Epic game but the steps are the same for steam ) • Step 2 : Read the Official Modding Rules • Before installing anything, check the official statement Marvel Rivals posted on X and Discord on October 15, 2026, They clearly listed that you will get banned for using any mod that gives you any type of competitive advantage. and specifically avoid using these files as they trigger the anti-cheat : - pystubber.asi - MarvelRivalsUnmountBlocker.asi • Step 3 : Download and set up the Signature Bypass + Project Galacta • This is the current recommended method for Season. Project Galacta is a mod loader + in-game skin swapper that mounts mods at runtime (doesn’t permanently edit game files) and is designed to stay within the cosmetic-only rules. What you need : - UTOC Signature Bypass ( Rivals SIG Bypasser ) on Nexus Mods - Project Galacta on Nexus Mods or the official GitHub Setup : 1 - Download and extract the UTOC Signature Bypass 2 - Copy dsound.dll and the plugins folder into : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MarvelRivals\MarvelGame\Marvel\Binaries\Win64 3 - go to : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MarvelRivals\MarvelGame\Marvel\Content\Paks and add new file and name it ''~mods'' ( the tide line is important, to type that press [ Fn + Shift + Esc ] ) 4 - Download and extract Project Galacta. Take the Project Galacta mod files (.pak, .ucas, .utoc) and put them in : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MarvelRivals\MarvelGame\Marvel\Content\Paks\~mods ( you can just slap the mods here in the ''~mods'' folder without making folders but i make folders to keep my mods orgnized and easily replaced in the future ) • Step 4 : Download mods and put them in the ~mods folder • In this video I’m mixing two Emma Frost Gala Glam mods to create a custom look : - White Queen's Gala 2021 - Gala Glam - Emma Frost by alirica (red makeup, Hollywood hair, and costume UI) - Thick Gala Glam Emma by jellybx How to install them : 1 - Download both mods from Nexus Mods. 2 - Extract the files. 3 - Go to your Paks folder : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MarvelRivals\MarvelGame\Marvel\Content\Paks\~mods 4 - Move the extracted mod files into the ~mods folder ( again i like to keep it orgnized so i make a folder for each character and look up skin names to keep it orgnized you dont have to do this u can simply slap the mods on there and you'll be fine ) now load up your game and if u did everything correctly, you should see project galacta load and your mods should work perfectly fine ! unless you're cheating or braking TOS you should almost never get banned using this method. Enjoy !
