3/ WATCH THIS: Illegal left turns off Kelly Drive MAJOR issue here. Despite Philadelphia Police Department Officer out of his vehicle with overhead lights flashing, drivers make illegal lefts right in front of him as he points to them not to. How many more deaths before this is fixed somehow.

@PhillyPolice Along those lines I see people ignoring those kinds of signs all the time here in Columbus, OH. The way to stop it is a physical barrier otherwise today's drivers will ignore it.

@PhillyPolice This is the result of lack of overall enforcement. People now drive with no regard for laws or each other. It's out of control and we all know it. This is one of many areas made treacherous by reckless drivers ignoring laws.

@PhillyPolice hey @penndotsec, any intersection that needs a sign to prevent death is an unsafe intersection. the vast majority of what you do is a waste of time and money

@PhillyPolice Why is the road on the left two-way. Left-turns on to it are prohibited and there is no traffic control device (stop sign/lights) and the slant angle is far to tight for a right turn onto it (from car traffic behind the officer). A useless lane. Make it one-way or intersection.

@PhillyPolice Is there a no left turn sign on the right side of the road as you approach?? Why are there 2 lanes on that road if it can't be used???I would be confused, too

@PhillyPolice So what you are saying is that once again, @PennDOTNews is NEVER legally responsible for poor signage and traffic design, its the cop's fault for not writing more revenue generating tickets...got it. 🙄

@PhillyPolice why is it a two sided street how is that illegal. It’s should just be one lane
