Diversity has destroyed this world.

The atmosphere on Sunday when I was little in the 60s was so different to now! People just had quiet family days, hardly any traffic, Sally Army with their band through the streets, churchbells ringing and the smell of roast beef! Old film on telly, pallladium sunday night on tv

Even in the mid 1990s, I went to London from Barking once, think that meant getting off at Fenchurch Street, and decided to walk onwards. Other than pigeons SITTING DOWN it was like walking through a ghost town

It was lovely and peaceful and now there’s only Christmas Day that feels peaceful. Ot was good for stress levels and the soul to be forced to stop on Sundays.

Could you imagine leaving milk and new papers on someone door step now...and not having it stolen or destroyed?

Interesting that there is a shopfront saying “HUNGARIAN CSARDA”, a year after the quashed revolution of 1956 produced another wave of emigrés/refugees.

To be fair, those wanting to be able to do more on a Sunday were probably those who had to work every other day.

The year i left school at 15. A time when we felt we had a future. A time before LAB, LIB CON betrayed us to WEF NWO GLOBALISM & EU we see today.

Horse got his nosh bag on

Hey, as long no people of a darker skin complexion are involved, right? The british will accept and even beg for any misery of their own making. I started writing this before I even saw the bunch of comments begging to return to this. Incredible. Not sure why these people can't be content with becoming monks and living in a monastery. If that's the life for you, go ahead. Clearly lots of saintly types out here. It went something like, "Love thy neighbor unless he's brown" after all.

So sad that this Britain is lost forever.🥲

Absolutely lovely 😍

But then other cultures didn't Observe the Sunday Sabbath

I think Fulham had the first game on a Sunday and sold programmes instead of gate money

There’s always been fear of the working class - for bear baiting see football fans in the 70s

They were in such a rush to do more. Can't help but think they'd see what Sundays have become and want to take it back.

The Bible says we are to work only six days a week. To thwart the Muslims, stick with those laws. God supports them.

This must have been filmed in the winter, not September. Ther are no leaves on the trees.

One of the 10 commandments is to keep the Sabbath... Jesus Christ also repeated it. Everything should be open on Sunday and closed on Saturdays. But we've been subverted by Popes who think they are 2nd to Jesus and so think they have a right to claim authority over the world.

Sounds like the taliban in control there lol.

now it's a nightmare

@Mrrachrichards everything about your childhood you didn't like this is supposed to be year 14 change , but they don't have it no technicolor here because of rock and roll

A happy medium between that scene and now would be lovely. What I’ve noticed is that no one has a day off from being loud and intrusive. There’s never a quiet moment, even at night there’s loud back firing cars speeding up and down disturbing our sleep.
