30s of scrolling Only 3 posts seen from other builders The rest is just mindless

I recently deleted Twitter, Mastodon, Reddit, and LinkedIn from my phone – I was spending far too much time there without intention. Weirdly I never find the need for mindless scrolling when using a web browser 🤷‍♂️

Turn on notifications for people and then click this. You’ll have a “feed” only with people you want to see posts from.

As others have said… the "For you" tab is just a complete waste of time. Stick to "Following", and order it by most recent. Much better experience.

Maybe it’s just Sunday. All the actual iOS devs are sleeping, touching grass, or pretending they don’t have bugs.

I also noticed that. I see random engagement-farming style content all the time now.. I keep blocking it.

I stopped using “for you” and now just look at “following”. Value I get is so much higher. I see a lot of the same stuff in “for you”… always same clickbait tricks to make it big by people who haven’t built anything interesting 🤷‍♂️

Took me some time to build my algorithm and it’s 100% about coding/marketing

Agreed with everyone here. I switched to following only. I only switch back to for you for the off chance if shows me someone I haven’t followed.

Is it coming from accounts you follow, or just randomly dropped into your timeline even if no one you follow replied to it?
