31 years ago today, "Runnin'" by The Pharcyde was released as a single.

The Pharcyde almost got into a fight over this song. When they recorded, all went out to eat something except Fatlip, who changed Dillas kickdrum on his own because for him it doesn't sound right. But the other members loved Dillas unconventional style. He had to rework it.

Labcabin. What an LP

Love this song!!

I’ll never get tired of it

Completely agree brother!

Dilla Love🤍

Dilla turned my dreams of production on it's head with this one, and Pharcyde took this beat made of pure movement itself and just ran away with it. Possibly a perfect song.

RIP Dilla

One if the best Dilla tracks in my books 📚

Classic 👌🏾🥰

Classic. ‘95 was the year

this entire album is top tier. the darker mood and the growth from the last album. this is one of my favorites of all time.
