31 years ago today, Tony Yeboah did this. Enough said.

And then scored an equally stupendous goal against Wimbledon three weeks later.

That’s the best goal ever scored in a league game M.O.T 💪💪💪 🤍💛💙

56 years old and still shout Yeboah at the top of my voice when attempting a long range volley, and I'm a Rams fan.

The scary thing for me is that it was 31 years ago....

Any long range goal in off the bar has always been referred to as a Yeboah ever since.

One of the best Premier League goals ever scored

@Gibboanxious Still about “Yeboah” when I hit a volley now too. Not even a Leeds fan 😂

Still remember this night as a young boy. So tired at school the next day 😂

Iconic goal.

31 years ago ! Wow... I was there and watching this still gives me goosebumps... incredible player ... A Tony Yeboah Thunderbastard... 💪🙌🐝🐝 @ColifaxSmith @coophos MOT 🤍💛💙

The original thunderbastard

Yeboah!!!!!!!!

@WilliamHardie6

Ah the Yeboah thunderbastard. The yardstick for all thunderbastards since.

@TheExtremeMusi1 One of the best goals in the premier league but I think the Wimbledon goal was better

@AndyDuHa could of been against anyone

The original thunder bastard

Fuck I feel old

The wild thing about this is that it was two days after both teams had started the season on the Saturday.

Me and my mates at the time tried our hardest to replicate this goal, sneaking onto the school field at weekends. None of us ever pulled it off. Scored a couple of crackers this lad

He could hit a ball, same time he scored that worldie at Palace. Don't make them like that anymore

Makes me feel old, I remember watching this game live on TV

The best

Damn good goal

I mind this goal Absolute Cracker ❤️👏

@HughThe4th

Still the greatest Premier League Goal ever!

@VillaViews_ But but but what’s the XG on it

Remember watching this in a pub on a holiday camp in France as a teen. As a young but passionate Reds fan I didn't know whether to applaud or cry. What a strike. 👏

Yeh just seen it. Gets better everytime

So good but i'll always put the Wimbledon goal above it

never gets old

Check out Tony Yeboah leeds goals on YouTube 🥰

Top strike. Never gets old
