32 years ago today, Digable Planets' "Blowout Comb" was released. Digable Planets’ second album, darker and more jazz-oriented than the first. Conscious writing set against heavier, less radio-friendly grooves.

Excellent description. This is a great album, and one of my favorites. While their first album was good this one is definitely superior imo. Unfortunately it didn’t do as well.

I loved this day. I was working at a music store and I got to hang up huge promos for it. I really wish I would have kept one.
