35 years ago today. I remember it well!

I was out clearing trees as they fell on the roads around Coniston.

It all started about 20 years ago. I used to see this older gentleman at a coffee shop, always meeting with young men, and it left an impression on me. I eventually struck up a conversation with him, and he told me that God had called him to help younger guys avoid the mistakes he had made. [Open it up ↓]

I was in hospital having had my appendix out, watching the lamp columns in the car park swaying in that wind. I was then discharged in the afternoon and had to be driven home in a car being constantly buffeted around.

Man climate change was a bitch then too! Lol

These storms usually happen towards a -NAO to +NAO transition. Northern Europe will probably have more intense storms through the next week or so. Probably closer to Iceland and Northern UK.
