It released 35 years ago today. 18 November 1990 🎈

What was released 35 years ago today you never said the title ?

😏

It’s because of this show , Pennywise is an icon , superb performance by Tim curry. The documentary of this show is good as well

I saw this before I read the book my sophomore year of high school. The book was so much scarier with an actual visualization of Pennywise (and his teeth) in my head.

I found it under the Christmas tree on VHS in 1990. I'm still a fan and prefer it to the remake.

Tim Curry was very good in this role.

We had Twin Peaks scaring us the night before with Leland Palmer crazily running around town and then It comes along the next night. ABC was on such a roll back then.

Read the book when it came out in the 80s, not one of my favorites but that two part series was good

Wow, I was a freshman in high school. Remember taping it, and seeing commercials for the Turbo Grafx 16 😎

@StevieLewIsBack IT should have never been remade. The IT TV miniseries is a masterpiece.

Ill never understand why this creeped people out. I thought it was corny af

In my opinion, the original is a thousand times better and more scary than any of the remakes

😍🤡🔥

And the best version.

Literally got goosebumps watching this, takes me right back to seeing it for the first time

.....why did this make me laugh? This used to terrify me, now its feels almost humorous XD

@jotaleloup @bhehehr nos hacemos viejos jaja

Love it 🤡

You all can never convince me that this wasn’t creepy and perfectly done

This is such an amazing scene!!! 🤡

@RobF9999 GOAT Pennywise.

@Aaron_____Davis I have this in my PS4 right now 😂 Fell asleep watching the other night

And it was always trash, unfortunately

This scared the hell out of me…when he stops and points at them. That and when Ben sees his “dad” at the barrens.

Do you prefer this one or the remake? For me, it's a really close one, especially with Welcome to Derry - loving that series so far!

The young cast in this was so good!

Tim Curry my Pennywise 🖤🔪🐈‍⬛

They had to work in the confines of a made for tv kids movie in the 90’s and they still crushed the new terrible movies. Just this scene alone is a million times better than the terrible projector scene from Chapter 1. A big part of that is the new kids were awfully cast too.

Can we take a moment to look at how laid It’s eyebrows are? Like the symmetrical.

To me there was nothing scary about this movie or the remakes. The book was horrifying.

Steven king gives his ip rights up like African children

Vices intro

And it’s still the best adaptation of this story by Stephen King. Tim Curry’s performance alone elevates it to a level never reached by the new adaptation.

My favorite.

I always loved that "Ha-HA!" After the first "I'll kill you all!" For some reason lol.

The best one.
