Everyone using his post to stroke their own egos and missing the point that he's documenting training for a goal.

This is something I can get behind

Can you dunk though?

The only Brian Johnson worth listening to

I’m learning so much about both of your personalities from this.

He’s focusing on a limited range of motion because when you train for vertical and athleticism, it’s a different kind of lift.

Unimaginably based response.

Good for you. Good for him. Good for anyone who is actually putting in work in this time where it takes concerted and intentional effort to do these things.

Damn; that’s seriously impressive. 💪🏼

And one would note 21 off the floor, versus 2 with half the lift underneath to start…

Never stop Shawn.

Forever the weirdest tiny dick energy to shit on someone who’s trying to put the work in. There’s always someone bigger and stronger. The gym is measuring you against yourself. You should feel embarrassed that took time out of your day to post this for likes on the internet.

Mogged

This is one of those training sessions where one working set is all it takes 😂🫡

That’s impressive. At 59, moving 405 for 21 reps is a strong reminder that age doesn’t automatically mean weakness. Maintaining strength and muscle as we get older is one of the best investments we can make in staying capable and independent.

There has never been a more owned clown in history Ouch

That’s wild

This is honestly pretty fucking crazy. Well done, sir.

What’s your vertical?

That's a strong grip to bust out 21 reps no straps

You are a smug, arrogant man. The more you glaze yourself, the louder your crash. It’s inevitable. Get off the Internet and get into humility.

That’s the kind of set that makes everyone else reconsider what they call strong

Too many reps Doc

Impressive

Yeah that’s solid.

Absolute beast, keep pushing the limits. Do you have a chart over your limit time of strength training? Curious how far up/down you are over time through your 30s, 40s, and 50s. I'm late 30's and as strong as I've ever been.

You’re 40 pounds heavier

Savage

I didn’t need to get flexed on this early in the morning

Incredible! Thank you for the book and all the work you're doing.

Not joking. Why so many reps? I thought at 60 your should be doing 5reps per set. At least that's what I've read. Thanks!

Um, enough about how we can niftily lift some weights? Sheesh.

Can you dunk?

Welcome to back surgery in a few years.
