#5 Miami vs #3 Virginia Tech (2005)

I remember when people were saying Marcus was gonna be better than Michael.

Brutal game. Miami dominated both lines of scrimmage.

I remember this game because college gameday was in Blacksburg that day and all the crew on gameday said that that morning that we had no shot to win up in Blacksburg that night. Well 27–7 later we quieted those critics at least for a little while

And then they decided to call it a season and implode.

Ah yes, the Nevin Shapiro game

i forgot about michael vick's brother lol

“Shook off the cobwebs” haha wow!

This game was brutal - probably the most deflating regular season loss ever.

I’ll never forget when Chris Fowler said earlier during Gameday “Virginia Tech needs to win impressively tonight”. They needed those “style points”. Right, Chris. To this day, VT has not sniffed the top 10.
