This is standing on principle. If you let them short you with 3 cents and you say nothing, they'll eventually start shorting you 8 cents and then it moves to 18 cents. The government and corporations always do things in tiny increments until you wake up and realize you're being shorted 98 cents because they round up to the nearest dollar. Don't you dare let them do this to you.

Family Dollar is now selling the fun size candy bars for 85 cents each These are the little 2 piece Hersey bars you probably got trick-or-treating during Halloween…. They now cost 85 cents…. Prices in America are out of control. In 2016 the price for a full size Hersheys bar with 12 rectangle sections was 99 cents. Now just 2 sections are 85 cents This is equivalent to an over 5x price increase just since 2026
